Thirty-four-year-old Stephanie Whittaker lived with her husband and their three children in Newport, Wales. On the night of Friday, March 23rd, Stephanie planned to go out for a drink with a female friend, but never arrived there, and was henceforth never seen again.
Although Stephanie’s body has never been found, foul play is suspected. Her family insisted she would never leave without telling them where she was going, at at any rate, she hadn’t taken any clothing, money, or documents with her when she left.
The case was featured on the Crimewatch TV program in January of 1994, but as of this writing, there have been no updates in the investigation, and the fate of the victim remains a complete mystery.
