Twenty-three-year-old Tom Kirwan lived in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, and worked at Bridgnorth Aluminium. According to family and friends, he was a kind, hard-working young man who seemingly had no enemies.
On the night of July 8th, 2012, Tom was spending time at a nightclub called Uberra when a fight broke out between different groups of people. It’s not clear what the cause of the altercation was, but by the end of it, Tom Kirwan had been stabbed three times: twice in the back and once in the heart. He was rushed to the hospital, but died shortly afterward.
After interviewing witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage, police arrested six individuals for participating in the brawl. Five of these people were eventually found guilty, but there was no evidence to suggest that any of them had been the one to murder Tom Kirwan, and his killer remains unknown.
In 2018, Tom’s family and Crime Stoppers announced a reward of £20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Tom Kirwan’s death.
