Forty-nine-year-old Sheila Farrow had eight children and lived in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England.
On June 17th, 1988, Sheila was spotted in the Stockport city center, reportedly talking to a slim white male who appeared to be in his mid-twenties. He had spiky brown hair and was wearing an open-necked white shirt under a shiny silver suit.
A short time later, Sheila was found beaten to death in the city center.
Authorities released a sketch of the man seen speaking to Sheila in the hours before she died, but the individual has never been identified.
The seemingly random murder of Sheila Farrow remains largely forgotten and unsolved, more than thirty years later.

I’m from Stockport and find it uneasy and concerning how this case has been completely forgotten and swept under the carpet
I was working at Slim Fit in Weir Mill at the time. It was terrifying. I still think of her from time to time.
