Charlie Jones

Forty-two-year-old Charlie Jones lived on Parkfield Road in Northwich, Cheshire, England. On the night of Saturday, January 24th, 1998, he was having a drink at the Wings Club on Station Road, and after leaving the pub, went to get some takeout.

When he emerged from the restaurant at around midnight, he was attacked by an unknown man, who beat him savagely before fleeing the scene.

Charlie was rushed to Leighton Hospital, where he languished for more than two weeks before dying on February 10th of a blood clot in his brain that had resulted from the assault.

In 2008, on the tenth anniversary of his death, his siblings made a plea in the media for new information, but as of this writing in November of 2024, the murder of Charlie Jones is still unsolved.
