Kevin Mison

Kevin Mison was eighteen years old and lived in Fulham, London, England. On August 6th, 1980, he was found dead in an empty house on Hartismere Road.

The young man had his hands tied behind his back, and some minor knife wounds on his throat. The cause of death, though, was the gag in his mouth, which had ultimately suffocated him. It also appeared as though his killer or killers had attempted to set the body on fire.

According to authorities, there was no sign of rape, but police nonetheless suspected a sexual motive; it was not clear why they believed this.

A teenage suspect was spotted twice on Hartismere Road at around the time of the crime, and it was reported that investigators were seeking two other individuals for questioning. However, none of these suspects was ever tracked down, and the case remains unsolved, more than forty years later.
