Peter Miller

At around seven-forty-five p.m. on Sunday, December 9th, 1984, the Miller family returned to their home on Camden Place in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. To their shock, they found twenty-four-year-old Peter Miller, son and brother, dead on the kitchen floor. He had been killed by a single stab wound to the chest.

Family members noted a strange odor upon first entering the residence, which was determined to have come from a used CS aerosol canister lying near the body. Police surmised the canister had been deployed by either Peter or his attacker.

In 2013, authorities announced they’d found a “sharp implement,” believed to be the murder weapon, and renewed their investigation into the case. Forensic tests on the unnamed item were then ordered, though no updates have been forthcoming. At this time, detectives also stated that they had a person of interest in the crime.

As of this writing in November of 2024, though, the identity of Peter Miller’s murderer is still a mystery.
