Ronald Kerr

Forty-nine-year-old Ronald Kerr lived on Lamberton Drive in Cardonald, Glasgow, Scotland. He suffered from a kidney disease and was considered disabled; his adult son Ronnie often came over to look after him.

On the evening of October 21st, 2003, Ronald was seen running errands at a local shop, after which he returned home.

Hours later, firefighters responded to a blaze at his residence. Though Ronald was pulled from the flames, he later died of his injuries.

Because it was later discovered that the fire was deliberately set, his death was deemed a murder. The motive was unknown, but police sought the occupants of two vehicles—a white van and a small dark or black car—that had been spotted near the scene at the time of the fire, hoping these individuals might have information that would help them solve the case.

As of December 20204, though, the mysterious murder of Ronald Kerr remains unsolved.
