Albert Lutterodt

Twenty-three-year-old Albert Lutterodt lived in a flat in Barrie House, Acton, West London. On June 10th, 2000, he and several others went on an organized bus trip to the Alton Towers theme park. According to witnesses, he was involved in some type of argument with another individual or individuals on the bus, though the exact details of the confrontation are unclear.

More than a week later, on June 19th, law enforcement responded to a report of gunfire coming from a flat at Barrie House. Upon arrival, officers discovered Albert Lutterodt dead of a single bullet wound to the head.

Authorities speculated that the argument on the bus trip could have played a part in the murder, and thus were keen to recover any photos Albert had taken with the disposable camera he had carried on the outing. There was also the possibility that Albert’s involvement with low-level marijuana dealing may have provided a motive for his slaying, but this line of inquiry was also not fruitful.

There have been no new developments in the cold case as of this writing.
