Paul Wright

Paul Wright was a twenty-six-year-old laborer, based in the Cricklewood area of London, England. On the night of August 17th, 2000, Paul was out drinking with friends at The Castle pub in Golders Green.

At some point, according to witnesses, Paul became involved in an argument with a group of young people at the intersection of Garth Road and Cloister Road. Though it’s not entirely clear what happened, Paul was eventually found lying on the sidewalk at around eleven p.m. He had been stabbed.

The victim was rushed to the Royal Free Hospital but died an hour later from his injuries.

Police sought to question a twenty-one-year-old bouncer named James Anderson in connection with the crime, but as of this writing, this individual has not been located.

A £5,000 reward was offered for information in 2001, but there don’t seem to have been any further developments in the case since then, and the murder of Paul Wright remains an open investigation.
