Shortly before seven-thirty p.m., police responded to a call at a house on Jasmine Lake Circle in North Naples, Florida. Inside the home, officers discovered the body of fifty-six-year-old Linda Marie Carre. She had died as the result of blunt force trauma to the head, and her death was ruled a homicide.
Neither the motive nor the identity of the killer are known, and the murder remains an open investigation, a quarter century later.
