Not long after midnight on July 10th, 2000, forty-two-year-old Librado Bautista Segura was found stabbed in front of an apartment complex on S Alston Avenue in Durham, North Carolina. The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital but soon died of his injuries.
Neither the killer nor the motive is known, and the case has since gone cold.
