In Phoenix, Arizona, Alfonso “JR” McCoy and his girlfriend Debra Gomez were murdered in their home at 6200 West Thomas Road. The crime occurred at some time between Tuesday, February 20th, and Wednesday, February 21st, 2001. The bodies were discovered just before five p.m on Wednesday.
The method of murder was not reported, but police did state that the residence had not been robbed. They have not released further details about possible motives or suspects. A $3,000 reward is offered for information leading to a conviction.
