At a little past eight p.m. on the evening of April 22nd, 2001, the bodies of nineteen-year-old Herman Lee Woolfolk III and seventeen-year-old Latrice Hulin were discovered in the trunk of Herman’s silver Ford Taurus in Gilpin Court in Richmond, Virginia. The pair had been reported missing and the vehicle reported stolen by their families earlier the same day. Herman had been stabbed to death, while Latrice was later found to have died of suffocation.
Reportedly, Latrice had been spending time at Herman’s residence, and at some point on the night of April 21st, he had been driving her home when an unknown assailant or assailants waylaid and murdered them. The bizarre case remains unresolved.
